CURRICULUM OF STUDIES:
The examination and courses of study followed by the National Council of Education Research and Exams of the CBSE, New Delhi. Due emphasis is laid in the value education.
The following subjects are taught in A.L.G Crescent school.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:
Objectives:
1. To give children ample opportunities for self expression.
2. To teach social co-operation by providing experience in group living.
3. To make children aware of their social responsibilities.
4. To prepare children for better leadership and fellowship.
5. To develop in children high standard of aesthetic sense, ethics, discipline, sportsman ship and social spirit.
6. To give them training in democratic citizenship.
a) House system : To facilitate healthy competition among the students the entire school is divided into 4 houses. Inter house competition are conducted in literary and cultural activities and in games and sports.

GAMES AND SPORTS : Coaching is given for boys and girls in Volleyball, Cricket, Football, Shuttle, Badminton, Kho-Kho and Kabaddi. Competitions in games and sports are conducted at the district, state and National levels.
CLUB ACTIVITIES: To enable students to develop their talents and interests the following clubs are formed. The clubs will run in 2 streams where a student has option to have membership in any one of each stream

ADULT EDUCATION PROGRAMME : The AEP programme is for creating awareness among adolescents with regard to problems faced by them and the ways to overcome them. This is conducted in interactive way.
SCOUTS AND GUIDES: Students from class VI and above are enrolled as Scouts or Guides. There is Scouts/ Guides activities for VI to X std. Club and Bulbuls activities are for primary classes.
ASSESSMENT PATTERN: The CBSE will be following single Annual Exam instead of the CCE and semester system. The annual exam will be conducted for 80 marks and other 20 marks are kept with school for internal assessment. Remodeled structure of the Annual Assessment

Written Examination – 80 marks
Periodic Test – 10 marks
Assignments & notes – 5 marks
Subject enrichment activity – 5 marks
⦁ The tests and examinations will be conducted as per the norms of CBSE.
⦁ A student resorting to any kind of fraudulent method during examinations is liable to be rusticated without notice.
⦁ Minimum marks for a passing will be 40% in each subject/ language.
⦁ Absence during examination or unit test will not be tolerated except on genuine medical grounds backed by a valid medical certificate with prescription.
